I made this portrait of Samson Contampasis, the owner of “Marketplace Gallery” and the organizer of Living Walls Albany. In case you wondering about the beaver and bananas… Samson’s family imported and sold all the bananas in Albany for generations, and beaver trapping and trading was the first industry when Albany was settled. Also its just funny, and a little dirty…

Samson wheat pasted on St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Albany. A deconsecrated catholic church, the amazing building is now used for gallery shows, concerts and instillations.
