I made this portrait of Samson Contampasis, the owner of “Marketplace Gallery” and the organizer of Living Walls Albany. In case you wondering about the beaver and bananas… Samson’s family imported and sold all the bananas in Albany for generations, and beaver trapping and trading was the first industry when Albany was settled. Also its just funny, and a little dirty…

Samson wheat pasted on St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Albany. A deconsecrated catholic church, the amazing building is now used for gallery shows, concerts and instillations.

I love the progression of this wheat paste I put up on South 4th st in Williamsburg. It stayed pristine for about a week, then got tagged over by a street art hater. Then after they buffed over the whole wall I came back and peeled up the paper underneath so you can still see the outline...
